Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

On Monday we woke up to 32 degree weather and snow falling. I was thinking it would not stick and last just a few minutes... I was wrong. It snowed all day long. We had like 4 inches of snow on our newly layed grass. The girls loved it. We went to the park with some friends and built a snowman and the kids went sledding. I guess the last time it snowed here was 5 years ago. I felt like I was in Utah. I don't want it to go away. It is so pretty. Good thing we are going to Utah for Christmas so we can enjoy some more. Hope you enjoy the photos.

Fun at Red Robin

Maycee and Tyler chose Red Robin for their bday lunch today.
It was so much fun.

Happy Birthday Tyler and Maycee

Two special people in my life celebrate their birthday today. I remember 6 years ago waking up Tyler and saying "Let's go to the hospital we are having this little girl today, on your birthday." He was so excited. I rember looking at Maycee's face and saying "She has your lips!!" I couldn't believe how much she looked like her daddy. I can't think of a better present. Tyler and Maycee bring such a joy in our lives. Maycee is always smiling and thinking of others, and makes us smile. Tyler likes to make this day special for Maycee and not focus on him. He is such a good daddy to his girls and the most unselfish person I know. We love you Tyler and Maycee.

Be a Hero. Save a blog. Use Bloggled’s Blog Backup and Win an iPod.

Hey everyone,

This is a new company one of our best friends started. What a great idea! Check it out-they are really giving out and i-Pod or cutter on Monday.

Have you ever had this experience? You are posting to your blog, click the publish button, and the very next thing you know the screen is blank. So, you click back to your drafts and nothing is there, then you click your published posts and nothing is there. At this point you are starting to think to yourself…oh no, what just happened? As you continue searching your blog admin for information you see that all your uploaded images, videos, files, and everything is gone.

Living through this situation would be enough to devastate any blogger. Knowing that years of data about your person, family, or business is gone can be difficult to overcome emotionally, but even more difficult of a problem to solve. If you haven’t backed up your blog recently, or ever, chances are your posts and everything else are gone for good.

This is the kind of situation that led Brent Ramey to the idea of creating Bloggled.com, “and to honestly save anyone in that situation the act of going insane.” Bloggled.com is a blog backup company that is allowing bloggers to backup their blog for free as an introductory product to celebrate their official launch out of beta and as a holiday gift this season. Bloggled is also offering multiple prizes to those who participate in their “Be a Hero, Save a Blog Contest” that is running through the day on Monday, December 15, 2008. Winners can choose from either a 16GB iPod Touch, or a Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter Machine and it’s quite simple to enter. All you have to do is one of the items below, but if you do more you get entered more times into the drawing…but you have to enter on Monday 12/15 to qualify so act fast, or should I say slow so I have a better chance of winning.

Ode to LOTOJA

Alright so Kacee posted a smidge (who knows if that is how you really spell that or if it is even a word...) about our relay race we did last Saturday. Hopefully there will be more pictures to come from Aunt Michelle. First, Kacee and I had a great time hanging out together and doing something hard and fun. We left Vegas on Thursady night and drove to Utah for the second time in two weeks. We hung out in Orem Friday until Jared, my cousin met up with us and we drove to Logan. When we go to Logan to check in for the race and get our timing chip it looked like a line for a new Disneyland ride. I did not know there were that many crazy people...I felt right at home. We made it throught the line and got checked in so we were official. We then met up for dinner with My Uncle Dave and some of his family who were also doing the race. We had some good eats and then went to Lisa Rameys' parents house for the night. Lisa's dad was hilarious. I guess we stayed in the "noisy room" from what he said. We woke up at dark thirty and made our way toward the starting line to cheer on my cousin-in-law Dan who rode the first leg of the race-34 miles. We missed him at the start but made it to the hand off point in Preston Idaho. In Preston I hopped on the bike and rode the next leg of 46 miles. 46 miles is not that hard unless 28 of those miles are uphill but I survived. The next hand off point was Montpeilier where I had really busted my tail to get to. When I arrived I saw my Uncle Brent and Aunt Michelle there but no other riders...They were stuck in traffic. So my thinking I would give it all I had into Montpeilier did not work so well because I had to keep going. And when I say going-I mean UP. Pretty soon Brent and Michelle brought my cousin Jared up to meet me and he got on and rode the third leg of the race about 45 miles into Afton Wyoming. In Afton Kacee (the Hammer) took over. Jared and I got in the car to meet Kacee at the next hand off point. As we were driving we would see groups and think she had to be in that group-Nope. About five groups up the road we find Kacee in the middle of a group of guys. We could tell by the numbers on their bikes that she was in a group of catagorized racers-and she was right in the mix! Needless to saw I was proud. Kacee ended up riding a quick 34 miles. The next exchange was not so smooth. Uncle Brent still had my bike in the back of his truck so Jared had to get back on and ride until Brent caught up and took me up to meet Jared. From there I rode the rest of the way into Teton Village. This was the most beautiful part of the ride. With mountains on either side and the Snake River winding next to the road I could not have asked for a better scene to ride in. The best part of the day was when I crossed the finish line. Not because I was tired after riding 92+ miles or because out of 58 teams we came in a down right respectable 21st but because of our team name. Jared named our team "Pretty Pink Ponies." When I crossed the finish line the announcer, over the loud speaker, says, "Welcome to Jackson Hole the Pretty Pink Ponies." Then with a sort of confused sound in his voice-because he can see four guys names on the computer screen he says, "Pretty Pink Ponies? Welcome guys." It was great!

So after 10hrs and 16 min we finished the 206 mile LOTOJA race. It was a fun experience and I am already looking forward to next year.

PS. The kits we are wearing are Crystal Springs Cattle Company kits. That is Uncle Brents cattle business name. Special thanks goes out to My Mom, Dad and Sisters who all helped with the girls, Uncle Brent and Aunt Michelle for toting us around and supporting us, and Grandma and Grandpa Stewart for driving into Afton to cheer us on-Thanks guys!

'Till next time~Late

We survived Lotoja

This past weekend Tyler and I and a couple of his cousins rode a relay from Logan to Jackson Hole. We had the funnest time. Thanks to my wonderful in-laws and Camie and Randy who kept our girls for us. I was able to catch Tyler in action while I was driving. What a hottie!! We finished in 10 hours and 15 minutes. Not bad.

She thinks she's all grown up

We were in Payless and I find Peyton around the corner looking like she is 16. She found all these items on her own and thought she was pretty cool.

First day of school

I went into Maycee's room the night before school and this is what I found. She had set her clothes out just the way she was going to wear them. She said, "Mom, this outfit is for the first day and this one is for the second day. She was so excited.
Marlee the 2nd grader... she was so happy to start school.
Maycee going to kindergarten. She couldn't wait. New shoes, clothes and she was ready. Wow I can't believe she is already that old.
What a proud daddy. He was there to take them to school. They were so happy to have him there.
Here I am, the proud mom. I really have been waiting for this day for a few months now. It was a little harder than I thought sending two of my kids to school. But what a happy day too.

We love you girls.

I know you all are going to die... after 4 months I have posted something new!!
This past weekend I spent with Tyler's mom and sisters in St Goerge.
Brenda my mother-in-law, who I love, wanted to spend her birthday with her daughters.
What a fun weekend!!

I have the best mother-in-law around. She is one of the kindest and funniest people I know. I love to be around her and am so blessed to have her in my life!! Love you Brenda!! We went to see Sound of Music at the Tuacan, we shopped, we layed by the pool and we ate. How much better can it get...
Can you say YUMMY!!! Jen (Tyler's cousin) and Camie thought the rolls at Texas Roadhouse were the best... well we all did. I think we ate like 12 baskets full!! For sure I ate my fair share!! They were to die for.
Britt and mom enjoying their dinner and Diet Coke!!
I have the best sister-in-laws. They are so fun. Brooke brought her beautiful baby Adison and we all just spoiled her. Chelsie, Camie, Brittney, Jen and mom... thanks for such a great weekend and the fun memories. I love you all

Happy Birthday Peyton

Two years ago today, April 4th,
Peyton was born. Wow. Time flies
when it's your third. We are so
blessed to have this beautiful girl
in our family. She is always smiling.
We are amazed at how well she is
talking I mean full on grown up sentences.

I am sure by these pictures you can all
tell how much fun she is and her sisters
love her so much.

One funny thing Peyton does is lets
people know when they need a time
out. She will say "Time out sissy"
or whoever deserved it. We love her so much.
She definetly brightens our days.

Easter Fun

Our trip to Orlando

We just returned from one of the funnest trips we have taken.
We left last Tuesday night and took the red eye flight to Orlando
to see our dear friends the Morris family. We did everything from
going to the beach, going to see a spring training baseball game,
going to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, MGM, and going to
the best Easter egg hunt I have ever been too. No joke they hid
21,000 egg. Our girls had a blast. We also spent Easter Sunday with
them and then headed back home early Monday morning. Thanks
Kevin and Amy for a great time. Pictures are soon to come.

Peyton in a big girl bed

This was such an easy tranistion for Peyton. She was so excited and ready to sleep in her big girl bed. As you can see she has many friends in her bed with her including 4 blankets. When she gets out of bed in the morning she drags all her blankets and as many stuffed animals as she can carry. It is so funny. We love her and is such a fun little girl.

Happy 7th Birthday Marlee

Marlee's real birthday is on Monday the 21st but she wanted a party so... last Friday we had a Hannah Montana birthday party. It consisted of Hannah Montana karaoke with the wig and all, painting fingernails and toenails, putting on there own Hannah Montana episode... thanks to our cousin Morgan, and of course cake and presents. It was so much fun.
I am taking Marlee and Maycee to her concert here in Las Vegas on Friday night. We can't wait.

Check out my Slide Show!

Our House

Under the weather

I have to post this picture of my niece Morgan and our little Peyton. Peyton had bronchitis on New's Years Eve and the only person she wanted was her cousin Morgan. That is not a huge surprise because that is always the case. Morgan Peyton loves you.
So call me a serious slacker. I have told myself I am not going to post another thing until I can make my blog look as cute as all yours. As you can tell I wasn't very successful. I need some serious help when it comes to being creative on this. So I hope that the pictures are cute enough.
I love this picture. They both got Webkinz for Christmas and are quite attached to them. They dressed alike and wanted me to get there picture. If they only acted like they look in this picture all the time. We love these girls.
